We created Blend with a simple vision: to bring an elevated, modern hair experience to the heart of Columbus, Texas. We are passionate about creating an experience that feels polished and elevated while staying true to the warmth, charm, and community that make a small town feel like home.
Blend is a space where luxury meets comfort. From the moment you walk through our doors, every detail is thoughtfully designed to make you feel welcomed, cared for, and completely at ease. We believe your salon experience should be about more than beautiful hair. It should be a moment to slow down, be inspired, and leave feeling like the very best version of yourself.
Our approach to luxury is intentional. It’s in the atmosphere, the products we choose, the details you notice, and most importantly, the way you are treated.
Columbus is a small town, and that is something we value deeply. We love the sense of connection that comes with being part of a close-knit community — where people know each other, support local businesses, and genuinely care about the place they call home. Blend was created to add something new to that community.
We are proud to bring a fresh perspective to beauty in Columbus and even more proud to grow alongside the people who call this place home.

THE STORY OF BLEND
Owning a salon was always one of those “someday” dreams. We talked about it, imagined what it could look like, and then almost by chance, came across the old Kay Klauber building before it ever hit the market.
We saw the space and pretty quickly saw Blend.
What followed was nearly a year of working by day and building this by night—planning, designing, renovating, changing our minds, and constantly asking, “How can we make this even better?”
Now, the thing that once only existed in our heads is real. And as proud as we are of what we’ve built, this still feels like the beginning.
Someday turned into right now—and we’re just getting started.

Lived-In Blonding + Extension Specialist | Bellami Certified
KJ is our lived-in blonde + extension girl, Lead Educator, and the one you want in your corner when the goal is really good hair that still feels like you. She’s Bellami certified, has been behind the chair for 5 years, and is especially passionate about creating custom blondes and undetectable extensions.
Originally from Dripping Springs, she now calls Schulenburg home with her new husband, their dogs Remi + Jo, and very soon, a baby boy (!!) arriving in January.
Her happy place is Seaside, Florida—and saying she loves it might be an understatement. Annual family vacation? Seaside. Bachelorette trip? Seaside. Honeymoon? Also Seaside. She knows what she likes!

High-Impact Blonding Specialist
Charlsie is our high-impact blonde girl and firmly believes your dream hair and healthy hair can exist at the same time. Three years in the beauty industry have only made her more obsessed with making sure her clients feel heard—and somewhere along the way, a whole lot of those clients have become actual friends.
She also happens to be the girl behind Glowhaus. What started as a spray-tanning side hustle in high school has officially grown up with her, now bringing VersaPro tans to Columbus.
She lives in East Bernard with Blanche Elizabeth Atteberry (yes, her dog requires the full government name) and would happily be on the next flight to Italy—preferably with her entire family tagging along.
